This is the Immigration Visa(s) page. Solomon Islands issues visas to foreign nationals wishing to visit Solomon Islands or those wishing to the country for a longer term stay. Exemptions are given to people with diplomatic privileges or foreign nationals working for the Solomon Islands Government. Please contact the Immigration Division to find out more.
Business Visa
The Business Visa is a short-term visa granted to individuals intending to enter and remain in the Solomon Islands for business-related purposes. Visa holders are permitted to stay for a maximum period of six (6) weeks per visit, with a combined total stay not exceeding ninety (90) days.
This visa category is administered by the Border Control Unit of the Immigration Division, under the authority of the Director of Immigration.
Extended Stay Visitor visa
The Extended Stay Visitor Visa is a short-term visa issued to eligible individuals who wish to remain in the Solomon Islands beyond the period permitted under a standard Visitor Visa. The visa allows for a minimum stay of six (6) months and a maximum stay of up to twelve (12) months.
This visa category is administered by the Border Control Unit within the Immigration Division, under the authority of the Director of Immigration.
Visitor Visa
The Visitor Visa is a short-term visa issued to individuals wishing to enter and stay in the Solomon Islands for tourism or to visit friends and family.
Visa holders are permitted a minimum stay of six (6) weeks, with a maximum combined stay not exceeding ninety (90) days.
This visa category is processed by the Border Control Unit of the Immigration Division, under the authority of the Director of Immigration.
