Welcome to the official page of the Business and Cooperatives Development Division.
As Director, I am pleased to share our vision and commitment to delivering our mandated roles—ensuring the consistent provision of high-quality business services and products that reflect not only excellence and innovation, but also creativity.
Our Division strives to achieve these goals through strong communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders and partners, as we work together to address both existing and emerging challenges facing businesses and cooperatives in the Solomon Islands.

The Business and Cooperatives Development Division (BCD Division) is responsible for supporting the development and promoting the sustainable growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), business associations, and cooperative societies across the Solomon Islands.
The Division fulfils this role through a range of services, including skills transfer via training programs, financial advisory support on funding options, and market research and development initiatives.
The Business and Cooperatives Development Division is headed by a Director who oversees the overall management and administration of the Division. He is supported by a Deputy Director and the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
