Short-Term Visas (Visitor and Business Visas) are available for foreign nationals who wish to visit the Solomon islands for a  limited stay. Depending on the visa type, the maximum stay can be up to 3 months or 12 months.

Types of Short-Term Visas:

  • Tourist – 90 days stay. Online fee: USD$50 plus Visa fee: USD$100
  • Visiting Relatives & friends – 90 days stay. Online fee: USD$50 plus Visa fee: USD$100
  • Journalist/Reporter – 30 days stay. Online fee: USD$50 plus Visa fee: USD$150
  • Melanesian Spearhead Group (Fiji, Vanuatu, PNG) – 60 days stay. Online fee: USD$50 plus Visa fee: Not applicable
  • Yacht Person (master & crew) – 90 days stay. Online fee: USD$50 plus Visa fee: USD$200
  • Business Visa – 90 days stay. Online fee: USD$50 plus Visa fee: USD$450
