The registry will pool and disseminate to our service users information about companies, businesses and charitable trusts through the use of innovative technology. In carrying out our functions, we will uphold and be guided by the relevant law of the land and the ethical standards of the public service whilst at the same time remaining responsive to the diverse needs of all stakeholders. In particular, we will promote and defend the interests of the government, the general welfare of staff and the special interests of the business community and the public at large. Our office will be user-friendly, our staff will be competent and our service exemplary.
The Registry of Companies is a division within the Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour and Immigration (MCILI). It is responsible for the registration of all businesses, companies, secured transactions, and charitable organizations operating within the borders of the Solomon Islands, on behalf of the Government.
The Division is headed by the Registrar of Companies, who oversees the operations and management of the registry.
