The Marketing and Export Promotion Division was established by the Solomon Islands Government in 2008 and is part of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration.
The Division is responsible for encouraging and promoting exports, as well as providing information and coordinating support for Solomon Islanders engaged in income-generating and export activities.

To be fully equipped to provide accurate market information, expert advice, coordination, and support to businesses and individuals.
The Division will conduct comprehensive market research to identify available markets for Solomon Islands products, understand their standards, and promote new innovations. We will actively promote local products through international and domestic trade shows, as well as other appropriate media channels. Additionally, we will work to identify and develop rural market infrastructures and coordinate marketing participants to enhance their performance.
We are committed to adopting innovative technologies to effectively carry out our functions and to ensuring our officers have the skills and capacity to deliver quality services to the public.
The Marketing and Export Promotion Division (MEPD) was established by the Solomon Islands Government in 2008 and is a division within the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration. The Division is responsible for providing information and coordinating support for Solomon Islanders engaged in income-generating and export activities. Additionally, it actively promotes export opportunities.
The Division is led by a Director and operates as a single unit without any sub-divisions.
The MEPD carries out a number of key functions as part of its role to support local businesses and exporters.
