Passport Unit

The Passport Unit is responsible for receiving and assessing passport applications, as well as issuing new passports.

It is also tasked with issuing other travel documents, including travel certificates and letters for both Solomon Islands nationals and foreign nationals. In addition, the Unit collaborates with external authorities such as the Solomon Islands Citizenship Commission and the Central Bank of Solomon Islands to ensure the accuracy of passport issuance records and passport stock records.
