  • Notice of a TDP hearing
    • A notice of hearing is issued by the Secretary to the TDP after the matter is registered by the Secretary.

 

  • Listing of cases
    • When a notice of hearing is issued to disputing parties, a listing is made for the parties’ case to be heard by the Trade Dispute Panel.

  • Alternative process (negotiations)
    • Either of the disputing parties can write to the Panel when a notice is issued, requesting an extension period to allow negotiation.
    • If negotiation is allowed, a written notice accepting extension period is issued by the Secretary of the TDP.
    • If the parties are able to resolve the matter amicably, an agreement is signed and case proceeds to Step 7 {link to Step 7}
    • If negotiations fail, the case proceeds to Step 3. {link to Step 3}
