Applications for a long term employment visa are made by filling out the Immigration Division’s visa application Form 5. This form can be downloaded from this website or collected from the Immigration Division Office.

The application Form must be accompanied by the required attachments stated in the Form.

o   Further information

• If the applicant is the holder of a visitor visa or business visa and is applying to convert this to a long-term employment visa, an additional fee of SBD$7,000 applies.
• All family members (Children) of a foreigner that holds a Long Term Employment Visa must apply for a separate Foreign National Dependant Visa each.
• Foreigners engaged with the Solomon Islands government and diplomatic organizations are exempted from the requirements for a visa.
