Our Units
The Immigration Division is made up of four Units. They include the Policy and Admin Unit, Passport Unit, National Border Compliance Unit, National Border Operations Unit.

National Border Compliance Unit
The National Border Compliance Unit prosecutes Solomon Islanders and foreign nationals who breach immigration laws. It works with the DPP and Police to investigate trafficking, smuggling, and related offenses. The Unit also inspects foreign companies, conducts joint border operations, and handles the deportation of foreign nationals found in violation of immigration regulations.

National Border Operations Unit
National Border Operations Unit responsible for monitoring Solomon Islands international seaports and airports.
It monitors foreign vessels and aircrafts that enter Solomon Islands international port and ensures that travellers on board these vessels and aircrafts have the proper immigration documents and permits to enter Solomon Islands.
