Our Units

The IDD is made up of four Units that provide technical support and advisory services to enhance industrial development capacity, promote entrepreneurship and promote and develop SMI products and SME Services throughout the Solomon Islands.

This Unit is responsible for providing support services to MSMEs and for the promotion and development of Small and Medium Industries (SMIs).

The OBIS is headed by a Webmaster who ensures that information provided through MCILI’s websites are up to date and relevant for use by local businesses, foreign investors and interested parties.

The Food Technology Unit is focused on providing technical assistance to local food industries from the micro level to food manufacturers.

The National Project Office is located within the TSS and is headed by a National Project Officer.
