Applications for a long term family relationship visa are made by filling out the Immigration Division’s visa application Form 8. This form can be downloaded from this website or collected from the Immigration Division Office.

• Employment is prohibited under this visa.
• If the applicant is the holder of a visitor visa or business visa and is applying to convert this to a long-term employment visa, an additional fee of SBD$1,000 applies.
• Foreigners engaged with the Solomon Islands government and diplomatic organizations are exempted from the requirements for a visa.
