The Immigration Division is the only travel document issuing authority in the Solomon Islands.
These documents include passports, certificates of identity and emergency travel certificates.
The Division’s Passport Unit is responsible for this function of the Immigration Division.
Travel documents issued by the Unit to Solomon Islanders and non citizens are issued in accordance with the Passports Act and its subsidiary legislations.
