There are certain business activities in the Solomon Islands that are reserved only for domestic investors. This 'Reserved List' is a Schedule of the Foreign Investment Act and is maintained by the Foreign Investment Division of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration. The Reserved List aims to protect specific opportunities for domestic providers and is selected based on metrics which represent ease of start up, capital investment requirements and similar.
Foreign investors are not allowed to conduct activities on the reserved list. The full list can be found on the InvestSolomons website.
